Easter Flea-Market - Oster Flohmarkt

The Easter Flea market that was organized by Karin Ely and that took place in her guesthouse "Living with Art", which is also the residence of the German Consular office, attracted more participants and visitors this year than ever before. Businesses as well as private persons had approximately 30 tables at their disposal free of charge. Visitors could make their pick from a wide variety of products and thereby help support disabled children in Hurghada. Karin and Peter Ely most generously raised the total proceeds by a quarter through donations in kind, making the local disabled children's day care centre a nicer place for the kids to be.

Der Oster Flohmarkt, organisiert von Karin Ely in ihrem Gästehaus „Living with Art“, in dem auch das Deutsche Konsularbüro untergebracht ist, hat dieses Jahr mehr Teilnehmer und Gäste als je zuvor angelockt. Etwa 30 Tische standen Firmen und Privaten gratis zur Verfügung. Die Gäste konnten aus einem breiten Angebot von Waren wählen und damit behinderte Kinder in Hurghada unterstützen. Die Einnahmen wurden von Karin und Peter Ely großzügigerweise durch Sachspenden im Gegenwert von einem Viertel des Gesamtertrages aufgestockt und werden das örtliche Tagesheim für behinderte Kinder lebenswerter für die Kinder machen.
