Location:

Name:
The name Habilli Shallal is given to the reef because of its nature as Habilli and because of the name of the area Shallal
Points of Attraction:
The underwater landscape - Marine Life and Soft Corals
Marine Life:
White tip reef Sharks, Schools of Reef Fish and a good chance to see Dolphins
Currents and Water Movement:
Can be strong coming from the North heading South.
The Dive:
- The reef is very small and surrounded by a number of small pillars so all you want to do in this dive is to cover the reef and the pillars in your tour at different levels.
- The dive starts by a Zodiac drop at the Northern side of the reef. Head down to the bottom at a depth of 25 meters, then start to make your way round the pillars at the North heading into the current first and then head back to the reef drifting with the current until you reach the Southern side of it.
- Get shallower and if the current is not too strong head back North to cover a shallower level of the reef.
- If current is strong just hang around the Southern area and slowly make your way up to the surface.
Recommendations:
Time to do the dive: Morning
Level of divers: Advanced
Maximum depth: 27 meters
Average depth: 14 meters
Night dive: Not possible
