On June 4th. the day finally arrived.
25 children under the care of Mme Madiha were invited to go aboard with Mr Kallafalla. For this occasion Mme Madiha selected only children with a poor, or no social background.

This was made possible due to the organisation of the Children’s leisure time day 2010 by NRC and Pro NRC from Hurghada. In fact NRC and Pro NRC are specialized in Nitrox membrane systems, high pressure compressors as well as Nitrox training for dive instructors and dive centres; however, they hereby wished to set a positive signal and will continue with their social involvement in the future. This day on the ship showed quite clearly that these factors don’t exclude each other, but are very well accepted.

Early in the morning all the children and those accompanying them were picked up in El Dahar by coach. Even the drive to the Hotel was exciting. Once they had arrived at the Le Pacha Resort they were taken to a warm welcome on the jetty. The children immediately engrossed the „Lumi Nation“ and everything was inquisitively examined. Then they set off, destination: Paradise Beach on Big Giftun Island. On the outbound journey a group of dolphins were acclaimed with enthusiasm by all aboard. Next came a Feluka-Transfer, swimming and bathing - food - and back into the water; the children’s leisure time day had only one brief interruption: the brilliant buffet lunch served on the ship.
Towards evening they regretfully set off on the journey home… but not before having eaten ample amounts of fruits and sweets.

Upshot of the Children’s leisure time day: Again, please!!! All the children were overjoyed and our Videofilmer Jörg captured this on DVD all day long.
