Turkish Airlines celebrated five years of success of its destination Hurghada in October 2017. The carrier operates regular daily flights from and to Hurghada, connecting Hurghada with more countries than any other airline in the world.
The five-year celebration took place at the prestigious Kempinski Hotel Soma Bay, starting with a reception at the beach, and followed by a generous dinner and speeches of many partners and friends in the tourism field.
Ahmet Akblut, Turkish Airlines Hurghada General Manager, in his speech thanked and honored all supporters of their operation on the Red Sea. Mr. Akblut added that Turkish Airlines spares no efforts to promote Hurghada and to open new markets.
The airport manager, General Sadek Al Shora, Mr. Mohamed Hassan, Mr. Ihab Shoukry, Mr. Moody Al Shaer, Mr. Swilim, Mr. Aly Okda, Mr. Emad Yanny, Mr. Mamdouh Fadl, Mrs. Katja Zemmir, Mrs. Nahla Hassan, Mrs. Amal Al Kady and Mr. Reuben Kataria were honored by Turkish Airlines for their great and consistent support.
Islam Radwan, Turkish Airlines Regional Marketing Representative, said: “Our team of Turkish Airlines is proud to be a major player in connecting Hurghada with the world, and having this way a major input in bringing the Red Sea back to one of the top holiday destinations worldwide.”
The event was a great chance for corporate clients to meet with travel agencies and to chat about business, future plans and the latest Turkish Airlines news.
